DSC is a small, competitive club where every member counts. Our head coach's motto is "swim fast; have fun." So, we aim to develop each individual swimmer to achieve their best results while having a good time. 

It is important to us that swimmers enjoy both swimming and other sports and so we work hard during pool time and then have time off so our members can do other things.

DSC aims to ensure every swimmer competes at an appropriate standard. The club organises several internal Splash Nights as well as competes in numerous open meets throughout the year. Our swimmers also compete in Swim England County Championships, East Region Regional Championships, Open Water Swim Championships and send swimmers to both Swim England and British Summer Nationals. 

Alongside the coaches, we have a dedicated team of volunteers on the committee who enable the club to run smoothly.
